Recently, Monster Energy has come under fire by way of a wrongful death lawsuit against the

company. The family of Anais Fournier filed the lawsuit, after the 14 year old died of cardiac

arrhythmia last December. The allegations (paraphrased) are that Monster isn't truthful about the

dangers and health risks associated with drinking Monster. Anais reportedly went into a coma

after drinking a second 24oz. Monster in 24 hours. She later passed away, and the autopsy report
